Question about Nokia E71 Smartphone
If it does not load and keeps on and on asking for defining internet access point despite selecting the default one (mobile network provider - in my case '3 UK') and in the end says that it needs internet connection and gives you a link where you presumably can learn about settings than perhaps go to 'Tools'/'Settings'/'Connections/'Access Points' and remove previously defined Wireless Access points (via which you presumably tried or successfully accessed Google Maps server). In my case after next launch Google Maps asked only once which internet access point I want it to use and after selecting '3' it worked flawlessly. Hopefully it will solve your problem if it is of similar nature.

If you google maps refuses to load you can get some other applications for google maps on getjar.com, and download Google Maps for mobile featuring Latitude v. 3. You can follow this link alternatively http://www.getjar.com/products/15897/GoogleMapsformobilefeaturingLatitude
Hope this would serve as an alternative.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
