Re: games on yahoo wont load

Sounds more like you already do have Java installed... Otherwise it would tell you that you need it.

It sounds more to me like your Java installation is experiencing some kind of error with the applet that is loading from Yahoo.

I would actually UNINSTALL Java from your system, reboot and then install it from again.

I would also recommend downloading Firefox and installing that. That way you can tell if it might be Internet Explorer having a problem with that particular Java application. Perhaps Firefox will run it if Internet Explorer will not.

Get back to us and tell us what happens. No rating until problem is either solved or not able to be solved, please.

I have lost yahoo as my home page, and cannot get to my email

There is no relation between Yahoo as home page and accessing yahoo mail.

You can always open an internet browser and type the url On the webpage you can click on "Mail" at the top of the left column. This will take you to the Yahoo Mail site. There you can type your user name and password and login.

Anyway, if you want to set Yahoo as home page you can open your internet browser and click tool->Internet Options. This will open a dialog box. Under the "general" tab there will be a text box under "Home Page". Type in the box. Click OK.

Close the browser. When you open the browser again yahoo home page will come.

Is it hard to get access to yahoo on a brand new computer? It has Windows 7.

No it is not hard to get access to Yahoo on any computer. How do you get Yahoo? You open an internet browser (like internet explorer or Firefox ect.) and wait for the website to load, then you go to the top of the page where the address of that website is listed and delete the address. The address looks like http://www. . After you delete the address, type this in instead and press the enter key on your keyboard. That will take you to Yahoo. Yahoo is free on the internet.

I hope this helps?

Good luck!

Having problems with playing video's on my computer via websites (news page etc) will work for @ 10 seconds then pause for @ 30 seconds then work for 10 seconds and continue to repeat this process I have...

Videos on websites need time to load before they will play seamlessly. When you first load the video, pause it and wait for a few minutes. You may see a bar loading across the part of the window that shows how much has loaded. This will take a few seconds or a few minutes depending on how fast your internet connection is.

Just trying to setup yahoo as a home page again

Open Internet Explorer (or your web brower)

Go to Tools, Internet Options

In the first box, under the first tab, you'll see one or more websites listed.

Delete any you do not want as a homepage.

If you leave any, press enter at the end of the line, and type in

For each website that you want to set as a home page (for more than one), use a seperate line. type the basic website name as listed above, then click on okay at the bottom.

Close out Internet Explorer, (or your web browser) and then restart. Your home page (yahoo) will load as the home page; in addition to any others you listed.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

How do i change my homepage to Yahoo?

Bring up the browser window and let it load to whatever page it is set for. Once it loads, click up in the address bar and type in and click enter. When the Yahoo screen loads, click on the "Tools" column and scroll down to "Internet Options". In this window the first area you see is the homepage tab. Click on "Use Current", this will make the current page your home page, which is Yahoo. Click apply and OK.

"Loading" at top of screen and I want "Yahoo" for home page

to set yahoo as your homepage go into the tools dropdown in internet explorer. Once in tools click on internet options then you can set your homepage to whatever you want. You have to be careful when installing some programs because it will change your homepage automatically. To keep this from happening keep an eye out for any check boxes that say something along the lines of

"would you like to make _____ your homepage"
As for the other problem im sorry but i don't know how to fix it as i am unfamliiar with the program
