I having probelm getting my central air to come on. I change the batteriesand still no air. and the number four just show on the display . The heats works and when I turn on the fan it works as well. Just not the central air.

There is usually an overflow tray which has a shutoff valve when the tray is about to overflow water into your house. It is not located outside on your unit but inside where ever the condenser unit is. IF that tray is full of water, your unit will not turn on until it is emptied. Then you need to find out why the tray isn't draining...do you have a blocked drain pipe?
