Did the O-ring stick when you took out the old filter? It may be stuck on the seat area so the new filter will not fit.

I replaced the water filter and now the ice dispenser won't work. What could be wrong?

Continue to dispense water for a min or two to push the air out of the filter. If that does not work insure the filter is seated properly and if you still have no luck return the filter for another.

I just replaced the ice and water filter, when ever I try getting water the filter just pops out. I've double check and purchased the right model FC-100.

It's possible the water filter is not fully seated and pressure builds up and pops out. Try removing and reinstalling the filter. Also check the filter to see if a seal on the new filter was not removed prior to installation.

Hi I recently replaced the water filter on my whirlpool refrigerator and no water is coming out what can the problem be

The water filter has a seal on the ends to protect it. Were these removed? If so, the water filter may not be seated completely.

Replaced DA29-00003B water filter in Samsung Refrigerator (RS2530BBP), with DA29-00003G filter. Water comes out extremely slowly....any suggestions? Tried holding ice type button for 3 seconds and...

Recheck you steps and see the warnings:

1) Turn on the main water supply & shut-off valve of the water
supply line.

2) Run water through the dispenser until the water runs clear
(6~7 minutes). This will clean the water supply system and
clear air from the lines.

3) Additional flushing may be required in some households.

4) Open the refrigerator door and check if water leaks around
the water filter.

Remove any residual matter inside the water supply line after installing filter.

NOTE :A newly-installed water filter cartridge may cause water to briefly
spurt from the dispenser.

My pump is on filter but is draining the water out please help

The water Has to be going out the 'backwash' or 'waste' line.Either that or you have a leak in the plumbing. If the backwash/waste valve is set in the 'filter' position and there is still water escaping through the backwash/waste line, it means that the o-ring or spider gasket needs to be replaced or re-seated. If it is a multi-port valve (one that you spin to select the setting as opposed to a 'push/pull valve) you can try shutting off the pump; do a complete turn, 360 degrees, from the 'filter' setting all the way back to the 'filter' setting. This sometimes helps the spider gasket re-seat

Step by step air filter replacement?

Remove seat, two bolts at rear...
unscrew wing bolt located in the middle of the air filter element
remove filter, and clean the mating area in the air box (WD-40 works well) Make sure not to get any dirt in here!!!
Remove the inner air filter cage, Clean the air filter (Stock ones are foam) I use kerosene or gas, but be careful, wash it then with soapy water and let it dry completely.
Use a foam filter oil, either spray on or in a bottle, and make sure it's covered completely, and tacky, not soaked. (I use Bel-Ray foam filter oil) Replace the air filter cage
Put a small bead of grease on the filter where it mates to the air box, this helps it seal.
Re-install air filter and seat, I use a little bit of lock-tite on the seat bolts, as they vibrate out.

I have replace my water and the waer has stopped

Remove the new filter and re-instal. If this doesn't solve problem I would put the old filter back in and try. If you now have water remove the old and try the new one again. Don't forget to push firmly as it may have not seated fully.
