Zanussi progress 1200

When I put the machine on 'extra quick' wash cycle, which is listed as taking 1 hour and 5 mins, in the last week it has suddenly started taking 3 and a half hours, the first 2 hours and 45 mins of which are the 'wash' part of the cycle. The 'Rinse' 'spin' and 'drain' elements of the cycle seem to take the same amount of time as they always did. Any advice?

If it is leaking from the waste pump area it may be blocked by a small piece of clothing like a sock or something similar! This will also cause it to take too long to complete a cycle. Remove the rubber hose onto the waste pump and check inside the hose and the pump, make sure the pump spins freely and that nothing is stuck in the hose pipes leading to the pump

This means that the filter is clogged. Get a towel (or two) in our case, and then unscrew the filter. It'll be full of lint.

SOURCE: my Bosch classic 1200 express washing machine wont drain or spin

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.

SOURCE: Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

SOURCE: Washing machine displays an LF error code.

LF = Long Fill

LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.

My Zanussi ZWF1430S drum not revolving or taking on water properly. Starts to take on water then stops and counts down 2 mins in 10secs. Won't revolve if moved to rinse or spin cycle.

Hi, you don't say if you took it apart yet, if not take a can of spray oil with the little wand try and put a good spray into it without taking it apart and turn the knob as soon as you put the can down, like right away! Turn it around so it lubs all then try it, give it another test drive. If you need to go futher you can go by places that fix them with the whole piece in hand and maybe they have one in the back barn. How lucky are you! Or go on ebay parts. Put in washing machines, then your make, and the more info you have you might get one, don't give up, I have found 1200 dollar parts brand new for 80 dollars it was more to ship, but I was so happy 5 years still celebrating, kidding, but it was good! Another one, put ad on craigs list, and you just might buy a used one for an amount that you never new exsisted. I have been fixing my own things, or buying used for 26 years. Pay for it when you get there and make sure everything works, like your buying new! A lot of divorces today, means a lot of used articles. A 1500 washer and dryer 1 year old you can purchase for around 300. I bought a large 12 spd. fwd. 3 back snowblower elec. start for 350 used it this winter beautiful machine! Boy I'm talking a lot, hope I helped you, good luck! Frankie

Zanussi aquacycle 1200.After a wash has finished and i empty washing, reload again,it wont start and none of the lights come on.eventially it works ok again after a good 5-10 mins.

you have probably done no harm. try selecting spin and drain again to ensure the water has drained properly.
Machine starting on its own after 5 minutes or so is usually the door lock failing, again not caused by your actions.

Zanussi progress 1200 won't take softener into

Hi there
Now I am urprised. There must be three dispensers in your Zanussi as in my Candy.
One is for the main wash another for prewash and the third one for
the softner.
Look in the manual.

My Zanussi Electrolux Essential 1200 washing machine ZWF12070W1

Most times unplugging a washer for 5 min or so will reset to factory. Some units just a quick unplug works too. But I'm not totally familiar with yours.
If it's going to be hard to unplug just turn off the breaker to it.
Hope this helps
