When I put the machine on 'extra quick' wash cycle, which is listed as taking 1 hour and 5 mins, in the last week it has suddenly started taking 3 and a half hours, the first 2 hours and 45 mins of which are the 'wash' part of the cycle. The 'Rinse' 'spin' and 'drain' elements of the cycle seem to take the same amount of time as they always did. Any advice?

If it is leaking from the waste pump area it may be blocked by a small piece of clothing like a sock or something similar! This will also cause it to take too long to complete a cycle. Remove the rubber hose onto the waste pump and check inside the hose and the pump, make sure the pump spins freely and that nothing is stuck in the hose pipes leading to the pump

This means that the filter is clogged. Get a towel (or two) in our case, and then unscrew the filter. It'll be full of lint.

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.
SOURCE: Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin
Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

LF = Long Fill
LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged
the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.
