Problem for Compaq Wireless Keyboard And Mouse (p5304k#aba)
Can't get my multimedia functions to work on my keyboard
I have a Compaq wireless multimedia keyboard s/n 04110614 I bought this keyboard new about 3 years ago and it still works perfect except for now since I hooked it up to a new computer my multimedia functions will not work. I have searched everywhere for help and with this and can find nothing. I do not have a disk for this nor did I ever. When I first bought this I remember having to go to a website to update something to get it to work properly but I can't remember where that was.. I have even tried to hp website and found nothing there.

- There are two different numbers not sure which one u want neither of them say model number one is CAT No 26-762 then ther eis a little sticker at the bottom that has the number 11A04 and there is a FCC ID 009K8732..Thats the only numbers I see on the backits a wireless multi function keyboard with wireless mouse made by Compaq for radioshack.

What is the keyboard model number/ name (probably on a sticker at the back of the keyboard)?
otherwise i am offering you this solution: download http://softboy.net/key/index.htm - it is a shareware which lets you assign functions to any key on a keyboard, the additional keys of multimedia keyboards included. http://www.serio-soft.com does the same and it is freeware but its interface is in russian.

I suspect you need the original driver disk that came with the keyboard and mouse. I have a Compaq Multimedia wireless keyboard and mouse I purchased at Radio Shack. RS PN 26-762. I was searching for the drivers cause none of the extra buttons work. Seems Radio Shack offers the manuals but not drivers, and Compaq doesn't recognize the RS part number.
