SOURCE: Samsung sgh u600 bought unlocked off ebay NEED BROWSER SETTINGS!!

Call t-mobile and ask for a terr 2 tech.

Tell them you have a u600 and they will text you with the 'setup up file" for free.

When you get the text, it will automatically set everything for you.

Understand that to get internet you need to have the BASIC internet option added to your contact (about $5/ month), you DO NOT NEED THE FULL data plan for this phone.

Have you tried a different USB port? Also, if you look on the forums at samsung-eternity.com they explain it all. I would suggest going in to add/remove programs in the control panel and uninstalling all samsung software/drivers. You can then download them again from Samsung's website along with PC Studio. It can be finicky but it works

Hey Domek, I have the GT-S5233 on the Rogers Network and I'm having the same problem you had. Can't get internet to be working. Do I need a data plan for this or my unlimited wap browsing will do? Also could tell me exactly what to do like a step by step process? I'm a little bit confused about your settings because you have both GOAM and Rogers Internet profiles...How do you enter port number as I don't see any where to input that? Also when I try to enter IP addresses, anything that starts with a 0 (zero), it simply erases it so if I was to put 025 it'll read 25. Help please!!!!

if your phone's modem present in control panel->phone and modem then you can use these steps;- 1. open properties of samsung modem which is present in control panel->phone and modem
2. click change setting 3.go to advance 4.write a command in advance;- AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","APN" then click apply apn is access point name
5. goto network &conn make a new connection make a dial up connection dial up no. is *99# no. need any username or paswd

6.check your pc suit don't open pc suit close pc suit.

What is the gprs/mms setting for sony ericsson X8? my network provider is globe philippines. i went to their customer service but even the representatives there can't help me with my problem.
Just follow this Guidelines

GPRS SETTINGS

1. Go to Menu>Choose Settings>Connectivity
2. Go to Data Accounts

tting you just need send “INTERNET” to 52270 which is toll free number for Tata Docomo users. Within 5 min you will receive setting message, just save that ‘TATA DOCOMO DIVEIN’ setting to your phone and you are done. Most of the people are confused with the APN. Let me clear you after activating your setting just select you APN as DOCOMO internet.

Didn’t get Settings? Set it manually, you can edit any of the previously available setting on your phone of any ISP follow the following steps:
1) Connection Name : select any name that you wants to ( Let us select “Tata docomo”)
2) Data Bearer : GPRS
3) Access Point Name : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET (Most important)
4) IP Address : Either select it as automatic or blank
5) Do not edit rest of the setiing, leave them as it is.

Follow this process;

call the customer care>>
ask them to activate gprs on your number(else take the note of numbers where you need to message)>>
ask them for gprs settings which you need to save(usually it is delivered to your phone once the gprs is activated)>>

For you to be able to use internet on your phone. You first need to contact your mobile service provider and ask them to activate your phone's internet service. After this, they can easily send out the settings for your phone.. run the automatic settings setup message and viola! you should be able to get internet access. I hope this helps.
