Problem for Tvone TV-207 Television
I have a comcast digital cable box,SHarp Aquos HD
I have a comcast digital cable box,SHarp Aquos HD TV, Onkyo r430 receiver and a Sony BluRay player hooked up via HDMI to TV. Blue ray input to Receiver is coax. However, I can not get any sound out of hte receiver and speakers from the TV. How should it be connected? What setting should the receiver be on?

The Sony BD player should have a setting for digital audio output. I believe it can be switched between off/PCM/5.1 etc. If you have a bitstream option, you may need to put it on re-encode if the receiver can't decode the new surround formats.

digital input must be enabled, via the onkyo remote or thru the front panel . without the manual or remote your screwed, i have the same problem ,but if you have the remote you just have to play around with the sound settings on this input only sorry i coudnt help more ohmega1080@yahoo.com
