On the back of the TV/VCR unit there is an input for audio & video plugs. These will accept a composite video signal and mono audio signal. I'm not sure if newer roku has these outputs as they are low def only signals. The roku would need to have have red, white & yellow sockets. (Old Roku's had these....) Yellow is video, red and white are L & R audio. Use a y adapter to merge red & white together, and use a standard RCA patch cord to connect the roku composite outputs to the TV VCR inputs.

I have a ge television from 1983 and want to hook up a ruko device to it can I do that

Composite cables as shown in picture for a Roku Express could be used if it has those connectors in the back of the GE television from 1983. There are some other Roku devices as well that could work, but not the kind with HDMI cable connections.

Installing an inside antenna

You can leave the input from the Roku hooked up, hook the antenna to the round connector that says antenna or cable on the tv then select cable or antenna as the input on the TV and select auto scan and let it scan for live chanels and store them...you can switch back and forth between the HDMI input for the Roku and the cable/antenna using the input button on the TV, you won't need to unhook or re hook anything to go from one source to the other.

How do I hook up a roku stick?

I am guessing you mean the HDMI connector type Roku?

You simply plug the Roku into a free HDMI port on your TV, then switch your TV input to the proper HDMI selection, then start your setup. I believe this also needs to be plugged into the wall for power as HDMI does not supply power.

If you have an iPhone or other similar devices, you can download the ROKU app to control the device.

The link I provided may help. Setup help

How to hook up

You do not need a smart tv in order to use the roku. Basically the roku device makes your TV Smart. The basic connection is just an hdmi cable, and some type of internet connection. Depending on the Roku you have, you can either go with the built in wireless, or you can hard wire the internet. The same type of cable that you would use to hook up a computer to your router.

Bought a ROKU XS needed a RCA CRF 907 TO CONNECT TO MY OLD SONY XBR 55' TV..DIDN'T HAVE ANYMOR

Hi, after a lot of searching I found all your bits but not too sure on the TV itself as it's not showing connections on the rear.
However as far as I can see, based on the device and your question, it looks like the standard old style coax goes from the CRF 907 TV OUT socket to your TV's ANT. IN socket.
I hope this helps.

How do I connect roku 2xs to sony trinitron tv

If your Tv does not have the HDMI port you can use the RCA cables. If your Tv does not have the RCA video/audio ports you will need an adapter from Radio Shack for hooking up a video camera to a cable Tv. This adapter will allow you to hook the Roku to the adapter with the RCA cables, then the adapter hooks to the Tv with a cable just like a cable box. This adapter is also a pass through for other devices like a cable box and or another DVD player. Hope this helps FixYa up.
