Do you think it's the battery? Or maybe the back. If the wii loses power, either the game you are in will immediately pause or it will continue moving in the same direction you pointed it in before the wii lost power

My wii will not work the wires are plugged in but the light is not on it was working fine yesterday but it wont work now please help

Try your wii power supply in your friends' house. If your power supply didn't work on your friends wii, Buy new power supply. If it worked on your friend's wii then your wii is dead. Call Nintendo to take care of it. If you dont have a warranty, do it yourself. Take out the motherboard and google Wii FUSE. Chage the fuse. If you don't have the fuse, use soldering iron and join the palce you place the fuse together. If that didn't work again, Replace the wii motherboard. Trust me your wii will work this time and your MII you created will still be there because they are all on your harddrive not wii motherboard.

Rate if this helped you.

does it say an error has occurred press the eject button, remove the game disc, and turn off the power to the console. please read the wii operations manual for more instructions? if so you probaly need to replace the laser light in your wii it shouldn't cost more than $50.

My wii was fine last time I played but now it wont turn on tried unplugging and plugging it back up but didnt help

Hi there, you could try the following:
  1. Try unplugging Wii from the power for a full 2 minutes, plug back in and power up and test (This resets the Power Adapter).
  2. If this does not resolve it then it may need to be repaired so contact Nintendo here.
Please see here for for information on Power issues with the Wii.
Cheers

I would buy a used/new one from the game store. If lightning got it, it's going to have fried more than just a "fuse".

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

I've had this same problem. Remove the batteries from the remotes. Then disconnct the power cord from the back of the Wii and disconnect the power cord from the wall. Let it sit for 5 min. Double check that the sensor bar is plugged into the Wii and check the cord for any breaks that might stop the signal. After you are sure that the sensor bar is connected and the 5 min. have gone by plug it all back in, install your batteries and re-sync it.
