Check whether you have any Electro magnetic devices like Fax machine, cordless phone,Mobile phones, speakers etc connected to the telephone line. If you find anything isolate that and try to connect to the wireless.

try to reboot your netgear router. if the same issue persist, try deleting the wireless networks saved to your computer and try to reconnect.

Hope that works.

Netgear WG111v3 adapter keeps stopping

Please do not use the USB Extension cable that came with the adapter and instead connect the adapter directly to the computer on USB port. You may try connecting it to a diffrent USB port. Otherwise, please update the drivers for the adapter from the below link:

http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12962

Hope this helps you to resolve the issue. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

An Unsecured network is open for anyone to freely use with open security to your computer too,

Not good at all.............

reset your router
should be a reset button on the back,
hold in till the lights on the front flash then its reset open explorer browser
type in 10.1.1.1
log in as Administrator
add new user
set password while adding new user
save your new settings(write them down too)
test the internet for function

if no function then contact your ISP to assist with connection to internet

all sorted now please rate me MISTERDJ

Router keeps loosing connection to computer maybe

sometimes the modem will kick off line, from a power glitch. I recommend you isolate the printer from that modem power strip and see how that works.

Problems with WiFi netgear WNDA3100

the drivers should be installed in windows 7 by default, their so called "smart wizard" has some compatibility issues with windows 7, I get it to load up and it will shut down or glitch out. What I did was uninstall the downloaded driver and use the default windows drivers, flipped the switch off to my built in G wifi adapter and the netgear automatically kicked in and took over as the default wireless adapter.

Dlink dwa 130 wont stay connected

I had a very similar problem with my Netgear, I assume your Netgear is 802.11n standard router and your wifi card is probably integrated which means it only supports b and g standard. The only solution is either to buy a 802.11n compatible wifi card or to kick the speed of the rounter down to b & g compatible more.
