Question about Televison & Video
Our TV will turn off the picture by itself and show ''weak signal'' and after a few minutes will turn off by itself. Once ''weak signal'' is up, we are unable to use power button or remote to turn off. We have to turn off/on power strip to turn TV back on. Then when it comes back on, sometimes there is no sound. It is a game of turning off and on to see when the sound comes back on. Sometimes it will be fine after that and sometimes it won't stay on for more than a few minutes. The TV is only about 4 years old and we build a niche around it so really want to fix this TV and not buy another. PLEASE PLEASE any suggestions? Thank you in advance!!!
O.k. your internal digital tuner sounds like its goin. what you need to do is take the back cover off and trace where you hook up your
digital signal (cable,ant.hdmi).then you will see 2 silverish boxes one is analog, other digital. get refrence #s off of board of the tuner thats conneted (trace the signal input wire to be sure) then e-mail me email@example.com
