SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Please insert the memory card. I have a brand new 4 GB SD card and what should i do to start using

Best thing you can do, get a card reader, hook that up into your computer, check the sd card and make sure that it is blank. Then copy the the original sd card to the new sd card, put the original card away in a safe place and keep it for when you need to reinstall a new sd card. Of course if you don't want to do that then just stick the original sd card into the side of the gps unit and use it till it starts to act up. At which point you will need yet another original sd card from the manufacturer. It's a viscous cycle. Hope this helps

Try to fix the sd card with some recovery software (recuva or similar) and transfer the data to a new card. If you have the installation disk, use that to copy the data to a new card. Do not use the corrupted card, since you might lock up the device for good.

Magellan Triton 500 value bundle

magellan has a big problem in the past with the Canada Value Pack. It did not work with the Triton. It was only made to work with the older Magellan GPS units.

Best to contact Magellan and see if they will give you a new one.

Evespan is frozen up at the start,whAT can I do

You need to test the SD card to make sure it's reading OK. Next step if it is OK, reformat the card and copy the files from the original cd that came with the unit, on to the SD card and that should fix the problem. If the SD card is defective, just get a new 1 or 2 gig SD card and copy the files on that card. It's ALWAYS helpful to have an extra SD card as a backup. If you don't have the original cd, I have the original as well as the new N30 version software for the Nav-Cam 2007. Joe

Add Europe sd card to Garmin 660

No. When you plug in the SD card, the Nuvi will load the map from your SD card. Once you get to the main menu, select the wrench symbol, then the map symbol and then "map info". You should see both the US and Europe map. Make sure the Europe map is checked. You can uncheck the US map. This is how you switch between maps. The reason why you have to have the extra map on the SD card is because the Nuvi can only have one map on it's internal drive, one at a time.

However, backing up your US map is a good idea.

Good luck,
- Jim

Deprogramed

I need more info to possibly help.
Do you have info on the SD card you need to keep?(just use a SD card reader for your computer to reformat to FAT) Be sure to copy all files to a safe place FIRST!
You could also try this combination, to clear ALL memory then reboot GPS unit.
1. Press and hold "Enter"+"Menu"+"PWR"
2. Follow GPS units On-Screen directions.
If GPS unit "locks-up" press and hold keys in this order, "Goto"+"ESC"+"Enter".(Forces GPS unit Off)
good luck

CHANGE MAPS

If the unit can use an SD card, you can order the maps from Garmin on the SD card. You just have to plug in the card, and select it.

Some of these models with the fixed map have them burned in, and they cannot be changed or upgraded.

Problem turning on unit with SD card

Make sure all the contacts that the SD card touches are even in the back. Sometimes the contacts will be bent out of shape and end up grounding themselves. So, get you a pair of tweezers.. and look closely. dont' be afraid to bend them back.. they shouldn't break off. Good Luck. -Daniel
