it appears that this player requires a modified remote control to unlock the other regions (some use plug in modules or hard chipping or service Discs, it really depends on the restrictions of the player)

check out www.dvd-codes.co.uk. they will send you a hacking code for a small fee ( only £3.49 ). good luck.
