I am having the same problem. I thought it was the remote control so I took the batteries out. Same issue. Then I disconnected my wireless Internet router.. same issue... I guess it is a hardware problem

Last night the tv was fine i turned it on this

Unplug 20 minutes. Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the set.

Try with the original manufacturer remote to view setup menu.

Power outages come at night. This sometimes resets the TV and other devices. .

Sound it on and can change channels, but no picture. The screen is showing the set-up mode. I have called the cable company thinking it was the box, removed the batteries from the remotes, re-booted...

try reset to defaults:
  1. Press the 'MENU' button.
  2. Press the cursor down to select SETTINGS.
  3. Press cursor right twice.
  4. Press the cursor down to select RESET AV SETTINGS.
  5. Press cursor right on START NOW. Press the 'OK' button.
  6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
