i bought house alarm second hand and it has reset it self to factory setting 1234 but on pad its say called engineer to reset can you help

Not sure but always ok to power system down. Remove battery than ac power. Wait a minute. Restore ac power than battery.

it needs a IEI212 keypad hooked to the master arm input terminals. or you can short accross the master arm terminals with a wire.
