Sometimes you can solve this by copying the file from a working laptop. Other times, you need to boot fom the Windows installation disk or CD or DVD, then go into repair mode, and follow the Windows instructions to recreate the file specifically for your laptop.

How can we improve the graphics quality with our SAMSUNG P2370 LCD Monitor for use with Photoshop design projects? The moniiiitor works well for movies, though we find the horizontal too narrow.
We are already well aware of the Picuture and Colour options offered for adjustment through the SAMSUNG p2370 Monitor itself but none ofthese seem to improve on what is a blurred text, especially when we switch from movies to internet or text editing.
Should we purchase a a graphics card, provided our Gateway(Model No. GT5056) will support such a card?
Or, are there better options within available LCD monitors on the market under $300.00?
Thanks!

I am looking to find out what I need to get my USB driver installed back to the internet. I have Dell dimension 2350 desktop. I re-done it all but didn't have any connection to the internet, so I installed all the drivers but that one and can't seem to get the right driver. My USB don't detect any new hardware. Please help.

MY COMPUTER SCREEN HAS GONE SMALL I am trying to solve it according to the following help note. But i cannot find display adaptor in device manager box Try right clicking on the desktop then selecting "properties". A window should appear. Click the "settings" tab at the top of this window. In the settings screen is a slider bar for screen resolution try sliding this to different places and clicking the apply button at the bottom of the screen until it is right. If this does not work go to start then control panel. If control panel is not in classic view switch it to classic view by clicking "Switch to classic" in the left hand column. Next click the icon that says "system" below it. In the window that opens click the tab that says "Hardware" in the hardware window click the "Device Manager" Button. A new window will open that has a list of things. There should be an entry in the list called "display adapters". Click the plus sign beside this. It should then expand and have a subentry for your display adapter. Right click on this sub entry. A popup menu will appear in the menu click "uninstall". A warning message will appear saying you are about to uninstall it. Click "OK". Now close all your open programs and restart your computer. When your computer restarts it should detect your screen as new hardware and configure it properly. P.S. all directions are for Windows XP. Please rate me! Thanks. Please help me if there is any other way and means to solve the problem that i am facing thanks deebye
