Loud rumbling noise when clothes are added to samsung dryer

the problem can be found at the loading capacity of your dryer, too much load can result to dryer to sag thus the contact between the drum and the sides can cause the rumbling sound.

Noise in operation. A loud rumbling noise when

Any noise must be identified with a good observation of the point of noise source.
This can be done with a good view with all safety precaution while the unit moves. Use good lighting and make sure that you are not putting your hands into any moving parts while the set works.
Now disconnect after observation and manually turn the drum, the motor and the rotor to fix the point of noise. this can be a faulty bearing assembly or a faulty suspension all of which will require a resetting/reassembly.

I get a rather loud rumbling sound when I first start up the dryer the drum is turning but still getting the rumbling sound but not as loud.

Sounds like you need rear rollers or you have a bad blower wheel. If you turn the dryer off and still hear the rumble for a few seconds its the blower wheel. If the rumbling stops instantly then you have bad rear rollers. Hope this helps.

The dryer has been making a loud rumbling noise intermittently when operating. What parts do I need to replace?

It sounds like the "drum rollers" are worn. The drum rollers are accessed by dismantling the dryer from the front. Contact an appliance service company.

Loud rumble sound, Vent hose vibration

That model of neptune dryer had a problem with the blower housings cracking. When the housing cracks, it binds forward into the blower wheel making a loud "rumble" noise and vibration. If you open the door and manually turn the drum and you hear a rubbing noise and feel alot of resistance, then you have a cracked blower housing and need to replace it. It is not an easy job to replace, so if your not familiar with dryers, you should have a technician replace it. Let me know if you have any further questions. shane

The spindle or shaft turning the drum may be bad. The motor as well could be slowly but surely grinding to a halt.
