Hey buddy try this

  • Firstly, you need to install FExplorer, a free file manager that allows us to browser through S60 file system.
  • Next, launch FExplorer and then browser to c:\system folder. There is a file, called mmcstore.
  • Rename the file to mmcstore.txt and then open it. Your password must be several characters at the end of the file.

Or the last way is to format the MMC, however your data will be deleted.

How could i reformat my nokia 6230 if i forgotten my security code

On a Series 60 based phone, two key sequences will allow to restore your phone to a cleaner state:
Normal Reset (*#7780#) : Restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc)
Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten.

In both case, the phone will ask you a confirmation and you will have to enter a security code (12345 by default).

Next time try to search using google first, the above text is from one of the top 10 links from a search for "nokia factory reset code".
or 6230, only *#7780# works. But it doesn't do anything like formatting the phone: it only restore settings to default values.

The files you have aren't affected by it
You can format your device by typing *#7370# in standby mode. Before the device is reset, you may need to provide the lock code. The default lock code is 12345.
    • Formatting the device will permanently erase all user data and settings as well as add-on applications and operator specific settings.
    • If you have made a backup of the device data, the data can be restored from the backup after formatting but some add-on applications can have restrictions that they are not restored from the backup.
    • If you use formatting to repair faulty behaviour of the device, restoring the backed-up data files may restore the unwanted behaviour as well. In that case, a partial restore may resolve the situation.
    • The contents of the SIM card and memory card (MMC) are not erased during formatting. Note, however, that in some device models (e.g. Nokia N8-00, E7-00, E6-00 and X7-00) the internal mass memory E: will be formatted in this situation. It is therefore important that you back up all your data from the E: mass memory before resetting the device. Use Nokia Suite to back up the contents to your PC.

Hi.... i am using nokia 2690 how to lock the cell with password ???? plz guide me sir :(

Select Menu > Settings > Security and from the following options:
    • PIN code request or UPIN code request-to set the phone to ask for your PIN or UPIN code every time the phone is switched on. Some SIM cards do not allow the code request to be turned off.
    • Security level > Phone-to set the phone to ask for the security code whenever a new SIM card is inserted into the phone. If you select Memory, the phone asks for the security code when the SIM card memory is selected, and you want to change the memory in use.
    • Access codes-to change the security code (default code is 12345), PIN code, PIN2 code, or restriction password.

How i can unlock my celphone nokia 5310

This type of question makes me crazy, it'd be better if you mentioned what lock whether sim lock or phone lock, and what steps you've taken so far. Well if it's phone lock, you can try 12345 (the default code for all nokia mobile handsets), for further reference, please check out my tips and tricks on nokia security codes

Note: please backup your phone memory and remove the memory card before you try any codes mentioned therein. Otherwise you may loose all your data.
    Good luck.
    Thanks for using FixYa.

I changed my security code but forgot it

If it is the unlock code you need to get into the phone, then this code is stored on the SIM card. If you try too many times to unlock the phone it may lock the SIM card permanently. You need to contact your phone service provider for assistance.

There's a Security Code and Lock Code.

    Resetting the Lock Code:
Remove the battery and replace it after 1 hour or more. The default Lock Code should reset to "1234". If that doesn't work try the last four of your phone number.

    Resetting the Security Code:
The default Security Code is 12345. If this doesn't work go to your normal interface and type in "#3001*12345*. Go to the Security option, write down the number, then press "Ok". Back out of it all and it should take you back to your normal phone interface. The number your found should be your security code.
