if you look at the blade,it should say "grass side" on one side. Mount it so you can see the words.

If you actually have a Flymo 360 lawnmower you will find a link below to the users manual. However I looked at the manual and it appears to be direct drive ie. no belt. http://www.flymo.com/ddoc/flyo/flyo2012_gben/flyo2012_gben__a505284803.pdf

sound like a bad pressure switch or sensor, try cleaning or washing the bag, inspect for broken wire.

the upper section of the grass collection box is a fill indicator. this indicator shows green and turns red when full. it also triggers a power off switch. it sounds like some debris has caught between the switch and indicator.
with a fine dry small paint brush or cotton bud clean around the switch .

Could be anything from a stripped drive shaft to a loose or stripped trimmer head. You'll probably need to take it to a repair shop to have them diagnose the problem and locate the replacement parts if it's anything other than a stripped trimmer head bolt.

Hi, mine broke yesterday (Sovereign HG500B Grass Trimmer). I took the grass trimmer to Homebase but they've told me that this model has been discontinued and they don't sell spare parts for it. I believe it's still within the guarantee period so if I can find the reciept they'll organise some sort of replacement, but if I can find somewhere that sells a replacement spool cover I'd rather just buy that and replace it...so far no luck.

check to see if the blade isint upside down pull the plug wire so you dont have an accidental pop or start pull the cord see what direction its going in

Check for debris caught under the deck. The motor may be getting ready to quit. The machine may need a replacement belt. Be careful and unplug the machine before checking.
