Question about Sony VAIO VGN-NS150J/S Notebook PC
I have a vaio notebook and it came with vista x64. i had some issues with it so i thought i would upgrade to windows 7 and so far it has worked great :) but all of a sudden it is taking a really long time to turn on and turnoff. i see the page that says "starting windows" but then all i see is a black screen with an arrow for about 2-4 minutes until it finally turns on. i have ran chkdsk's and antivirus programs but they are all clean. if anyone can help me it would be most appreciated!!!
This is not a very easy one to solve because i think Windows 7 is still not free from defects
so you might have some glitches slowing you notebook down
As you said that the anti virus and chkdisk came out clean
the only suggestion i can give is that you try to restore back to a date when it was working correctly
you might have installed some program which might have caused this
try uninstalling a few suspicious soft wares........
i would be of more help if you could give more information about how or when it started happening
