Question about LG 37LP1D 37 in. LCD Television
Hi, I really hope someone can help. I've had a LG37LP1D for just over a year now, but I switched on the TV this morning, and there was no picture.
I've checked all the connections to the periherals (Digital Box etc.) and everything is fine as I have sound. I think I have a problem because the start-up screen of the TV does not appear.
I switch the TV on and and it makes the usual noises, but when I expect the LG logo to appear on-screen at start-up, it doesn't appear. The TV screen remains black where/when the logo should appear, then it gets slightly brighter when I think the actual TV picture should appear, but I still cannot see any real TV picture. (I assume this means the lamp is working fine etc.)
Please Help, Naz
Perhaps your remote is set to video recorder? Try that first, and if no response, try calling up a menu on your TV and look for the Picture Settings.
