Question about Acer Aspire 6530-5143 Notebook PC
I recently purchased an ACER Aspire 6530. In the beginning the sound was great. After 2 weeks or so the sound became like it's coming from a broken radio. This includes dvd movies, audio files (using windows media player and theKMPlayer). Please if you have any idea about my problem let me know!
Thanx in advance.
I had the same problem, and it always seemed to be a resource issue. (CPU running near 100%). Somehow my Acer ePower Plan was set to "balanced" and when i looked at the settings for CPU speed when the computer was plugged in, it was set to LOW !!! So, I changed it high, rebooted and it now sounds great.

You need to blow out the fan area with compressed air they build up dirt quickly and is common, you may have a broken audio jack since you did not state if you have external speakers hooked up, if you don't double click on the speaker icon and raise the volume up all the way to get them to work, also in the windows media player open the equalizer and see if you can adjust it to make better sound, if not call tech support and return it for repairs, Acers has issues with some of their mother boards so don't wait call right away..
