I have lost my user guide and software install disk during a move and didn't get to install it (they must be together somewhere!) I have never been able to plug my Digital Video Camera into the computer to burn it to a disk. I have been trying to get a manual and am stuck. I have been able to download a driver and it seems to work but it is now saying that there is "no signal". I don't know if I need a firewire cable? and then I don't know how many pins etc???

If the software included with your camcorder has been lost or damaged, a copy of the software can be purchased from the Sony® Direct Accessories and Parts Center Web site or by calling (800) 488-7669. The part number for the Picture Package and Nero Express 6 software is 266675301; both of these applications are now provided on the same disc. The part number for the PIXELA ImageMixer software is 308613101
