Other party cant hear me in Skype out

Skype out worked well on creative extreme music, then the card croaked. Bought a new xi fi titanium, cant get it to work with skype out. echo 123 works fine, testing of mic and headphones, both work fine. Senheiser & Creative headphones with mic, both work fine on other machines. I can play games and hear music using it.In play control, line in and microphone FP are muted. The older creative card had a mic boost function, +- 20 db , the new card does not have one. Could this be a issue ? I enabled it on my extreme music. Worked thru many combins of mute and same result. Updated and using all latest windows and creative drivers. Zone alarm is 8.0.298.000. Also tried using Media ring and still the same result. Even made some editions to the shared.xml in Skype. No dice.

Is my Soundcards THX True studio pro compatible?

Hello you can find the info here:

http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-XFi-Titanium-PCI/M/B001E25KDK.htm

As far as i can see it only have 5.1 surround sound.
And no thx certification.
A THX certified card is more expencive.
The games you play, must also have the thx logo, and must be encoded with the thx sound system.
A thx system is 7,1, and the speakers must also have the certification.

Here are the gigabyte homepage:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3960#dl

The onboard sound card is 2 channel stereo.

Hope this was helpfull

I recently bought a Packard Bell LM81, having problems with the sound, when playing back DVD´s the music plays loud enough but the voice is extremely quiet, also having problems with sound when...

Hello,

first lets make sure your speakers are in the right plug on the back of that sound card. Sounds like you have the speakers in a plug that supports 5.1 audio after witch your only hearing that distinct channel.

Check the back there should be 3 or 4 plug ins 3.5 mm in size. They should be labeled. Make sure your plugged in the correct port on the back of the sound card itself.

please update me with any details if your problem was fixed with this solutions or not.

I can't configure or access my flexijack on Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro Series Sound Card

well the ports on the card could be shot and the card might have been installed by a person with a static charge built on thier hands without them knowing, which can cause the card's electronics to fry and be ALMOST completely disabled. try using a different mic or taking the card out and re-installing it.
