My Altec Lansing VS4121 played excellent sound, even at high volume untill recently. A friend had borrowed them for weeks and I got them back recently. Played music to find out that sound of main woofer...

Hi there,
I think that some wirings inside the main woofer or the tray holding it might have loosed. It could be the speakers were accidentally dropped or anything.
You can bring it to a local store Best Buy, Staples, etc. have it checked by one of them technicians or to see if it can be put back to it's place. I'm no speakers expert but that's the only reason I could think of.
If you are comfortable opening the speaker covers and checking inside the speakers then you can also try to check for some loose parts.
Hope this helps!

My apple iPod nano 5th gen wont play music through the headphones right. It only plays through the internal speaker even with the headphones in. I can hear it through the headphones a little but it is...

take the headphones out play the music full volume then put the headphones in and lower the music all the way down then your volume will be normal and it will only play in through the head phones unless you take headphones out then it will play through speakers

Low volume on creature speakers

Your speaker volume must have reset. You have to touch the dots on the right speaker to turn up the volume to desired volume. I just remembered that on my system. Hope this helps.

Low sound coming from soundsticks II

On the right stick, there are two metal pieces at the bottom of the stick. The right one is + for volume up, and the left is - for volume down.

Press the + one a few times with your finger as they are touch activated. Be careful though, as it can get loud very quickly. Play some music and set the computer volume to about half way. Then press the + speaker on the right hand side until you are happy with the volume.

Hope this helps,

Nathan.
