Lexmark E450dn Error msg 84 Replace Photoconductor Photoconductor has been replaced same error msg. Is there something else to look for?

No, if you changed the photoconductor kit, then you just need to reset the maintenace count for the PE Kit.

Please follow this hyperlink to the specific instructions you need on Lexmarks web site.

http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=HO3155&locale=EN&userlocale=EN

they are easy to follow directions and you should have no problems.

Thanks

Printer will not print, error message photoconductor kit error end of life problem, even though kit has been changed

Most of the photoconductors reset automatically through some sort of electrical trip. If this is already broken when it comes in, it of course will not reset. It will still work fine but you need to manually reset the count. Look up in the manual on how to do this or provide what type of printer it is.

How to reset PC kit e332n

To reset the PC page count, while the printer is on, open front cover then press the cancel button.
NOTE: The photoconductor page count should be reset only when a brand-new photoconductor kit is installed. Resetting the page count without replacing the photoconductor kit could cause the photoconductor to operate beyond its intended life and thus create print quality issues.

Dell 1700 is giving me an error about the Toner. It also prints out a page telling me to replace the photoconductor kit. I have replaced the photoconductor and the toner but it still has the same error and...

The printer has no way of knnowing that you have changed the Photoconductor Unit, unless you tell it (as there is not chip on the Photoconductor).

The Photconductor reset procedure is as follows.

Dell 1700
RESETTING DRUM PAGE COUNTER

1) Leave the power on, insert toner cartridge, and leave door open
2) Press the cancel button and hold till the leds flash
3) Release cancel button and close toner cartridge door

Will not print because the photoconductor kit3 at end of live but i konw you can reset it

open front door, hold reset until lights flash up and down, press reset again, close door.
Press continue button to print the status of the photoconductor kit, it should be ok. But if you don't change the photoconductor kit, I think you can break other components.
I hope you understand this information because I am a french speaker. Good luck
