Re: phone memory

Usually with this phone if there is no card slot for memory expansion then there is no way to expand your memory :(

Trick to Increase your Phone MemoryHere is a trick to free up your N73's phone memory C: by 5MB...
1. Hack your phone..Disable Plat security by CapsOff
2. Go to C:/private/102072c4 folder You will find a file named "reserved " of size 4.76MB
3. Delete it (Dont hesitate)
4. Congrats you've recovered ~5MB memory
5. CapsOn

Why we Kicking this file out?
This reserved file is for FOTA (firmware over the air), and we wont need it as we never get any FOTA updates.
It does eventually come back at times..most probably when you use the Device mgr. So at those times u can delete it again...
Deleting this file will not affect your phone...I tested and using my N73 without any prob..

If you Wish, make a backup of the file in your Memory Card.
Plz try this on other Phone models and reply here..

Note: For Any Loss Or Damage To ur Phone i shall not be responsible.....

But This Trick is SAFE.

Hope this will be useful...

Keypad unlocks slowly and misses incoming calls, keeps saying "device memory full," shows 0.0KB free space in the Application Memory while Device Memory has 798.1KB and Media Card has 967.1KB Free Space......

Make sure there is enough memory available on the BlackBerry smartphone, and iit s not less than 5mb.
To check the memory on the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:-
1. From the BlackBerry smartphone home screen, click Options > Status.
2. If the File Free field is less than 5mb items have to be removed to increase the available memory.

If in case the above resolution is not working you need follow this complete procedure:-

1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer using a USB .
2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
3. Click BackUp and Restore > Advanced
5. On the right hand column click Content Store, and then click Clear.

save the media (mms, images, Audio) to your microSD memory card instead of images, using the internal memory on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Java installation problem

After installing the game try if you can move them to the memory card.

Also in settings there should be a place where you will specify the memory to be in use.

Memory increase to v3

No...It has only 5MB built in. Per Motorola: Available user memory varies due to the configuration of the phone, which varies by service provider. Sorry...
