Where is the inverter board located on the A7j ?

Locate the inverter board inside the bottom edge of the LCD panel just below the LCD screen. Turn on your Multimeter device and enable "DC Mode" on the Multimeter. Attach the positive (red) probe to Pin 1 on the inverter board. There are two power cables connected to each end of the inverter board.

The graphics section in a laptop is incorporated into the main board. It is not a separate card and you cannot replace that section by itself.

What I have found on this tv is the inverter board is integrated with power board you might want to head over to badcaps site on this one.It could be as simple as replacing 2 transistors and a fuse.

Is this an ASUS board?

The inverter board is located just below the LCD screen, the cable is located where the hindge is," left or right "

Your inverter board is OK otherwise you will not get any light on the screen, there is only one inverter board, Check the flat ribbon cable connected to the LCD panel (locate behind the LCD panel), when this connector comes off you will get white screen.

In my experience, the inverter is usually located at the very bottom of the display assembly (nearest where the hinges connect). You'll have to remove the bezel from the display to access the inverter board. Refer to pages 121-125 of this assembly manual. It doesn't discuss the inverter board directly, only how to remove the display (if you haven't already). The bezel on the display may have a few screws (behind rubber pads, usually), but the rest of the bezel should pop apart.
