Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I had to store my printer for a while and now that I need it, it doesn't work. my little girl was looking at the printer when I was getting everything out to connect it to my computer. Later I found a piece of plastic laying on the bed it's got a + and a circle on one end and a + a circle and an arrow on the other what is it and does it go to the printer. when I tried to print something on the printer the check print cartidge light keep blinking and when the ink slides back and forth on the inside it hits the sides very hard. It make the printer move alittle what can I do to fix it or is it fixable??
Sounds like your daughter removed a switch or sensor from the printer.
The printhead has a sensor or switch usually all the way to the right where it has a reference point to know it is at the starting position, if not it will bang itself at that point and go into an error code.
Turn off machine open door move printhead to the left and look to see if that peice could go on something.
If you can't figure it out then cost of repair vs cost to replace will come in.

Tips for a great answer:
If that doesn't help, try to insert your printer into a different known working power outlet in the wall. This will help us identify if it's a faulty power outlet issue.
