Macbook ejecting DVD weird

Same thing. I hit the eject button over and over again. My mac sounded really loud but never ejected the DVD then restarted the movie. It eventually ejected it when I angled the laptop downward on the DVD slot side.

Force Eject CD/DVD From a Macintosh Computer

Have you got a CD or DVD That won't eject from a Macbook or Mac desktop? There are many ways of getting a disk to eject. 1) Log Out: then try by pushing eject on the login screen. 2)Login: If that doesn't work login and push eject. 3)Restart: Restart the computer and repeat steps 1 and 2. 4) Force Eject: To force eject hold down the mouse or trackpad button when the computer is starting up, if you have a non-apple mouse hold down the left click. 5) If All Else Fails: Your disk drive could be broken you should call Apple or take it to the shop you purchased it form with your applecare box and number (if you have one).

How do I eject a DVD from the MacBook Pro?

Press the eject button on the keyboard, top right-hand side, just above delete button.
You could also try going to your HDD, click on CD Drive, right click and eject.
Hope this helps.

How to eject a cd

A few ways of doing this

1) restart mac and press down the trackpad button after you hear the startup noise

2) if that does not work try opening up disk utility which is located in applications and then in the utilities folder and click on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject

3) or open up terminal found in the utilities folder within your applications folder and then type in
drutil tray eject and then press return

4) Finally what to do is try pick up your macbook tilt the
macbook to the one side and press the eject key and hopefully the effect of gravity will allow the CD to fall out.
However, I would say that DVDicon1.png drives in all macs are a bit suspect and if your macbook is still under warranty or under AppleCare take it back to the Apple Store and tell them that the DVD drive is faulty and they should replace it free off charge. Hope this helps.

DVD stuck in MacBook Pro but my laptop registers nothing...

If you look on the dvd drive there is a little round hole. Just get a paper clip and straighten it out and stick it into that hole. There is a little button that you push with the paper clip that is a manual eject button for cases like this.

A cd is stuck in my macbook.

The same thing happens to me all the time.
Ok so, you have the cd in ur laptop. Restart your laptop and hold the "eject" key until it comes back to your desktop. If your computer cant restart, hold down the power button till its off then turn it on again and hold the eject button. And hopefully it will come out.

Hope I helped
