Your machine has a short circuit in it especially if it's not electronic..Most likely the motor windings..you have to pull out the motor and perform necessary tests..you need the technical know-how to do it..

Hi their, I'm having problems turning the washing machine on it finished a load then wouldn't turn on again think yous can help me with that one

Hi. Make sure it's still plugged in. If it is then check the fuse box to ensure the breaker hasn't been tripped. If it has been tripped you could try just turning it OFF and the ON but there may be something wrong with your machine if this is the case and I wouldn't use it again until whatever tripped it was fixed. Another thing that might cause it to not run is the door may not be seating properly. There's a safety switch in most washers that will keep it from running if not activated. Call the manufacturer or visit their website and see if there's a solution there.

Good luck

Went to switch oven on fan works when you turn the temp knob it trips the trip switch every time help

HI, Sounds like your from the UK
If you are referring to a trip switch as being equivalent to an American circuit breaker. (Electrical safety device designed to shut down power to an electrical appliance). Then we are on the same page.
Do the following diagnostic procedure:
1 SHUT DOWN THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE OVEN. I.E. THE TRIP SWITCH/CIRCUIT BREAKER.
2 Open the oven door and look very carefully with a flashlight at the heating element. Look at the the entire element. If it blew (similar to when a light bulb blows) you will
find white powder around the hole in it or it will be completely broken, or have bubbles in it. Some indication like that. If so it has failed and must be replaced. It is probably tripping the switch because it is shorting out somewhere. There is also the possibility that the internal wiring connectors to where the element is mounted into the oven walls is broken off and short circuiting against the oven chassis (walls). That being the case, it may be just a wiring repair in which you install new appropriate electrical contacts and re-connect the element.
Hope this helps,
Happy New Year,
Mark

Hi, I descaled my machine yesterday - (it was working well until I did this.) I cleaned the solution out. Made sure the boiler was filled and then next day I pulled one shot - switched the button to steam....

Hi there,
The most common cause for a machine tripping your supply is a faulty element. Usually it is found after descaling as well as basically the scale which is covering the fault is removed and then the contact with water makes it short out. It could be so small that you can't even see it but it is a problem that i have encountered before in many cases. If you require spares or repairs and you are within the UK please get in touch at domesticespresso@live.com and i will be able to sort you out.
I have full access to Rancilio spares so not a problem to get you parts if you want to repair it yourself.

Kind Regards

My LG WD-1049C has suddenly starting causing our power to go out and the safety switch flicks on/off. Doesn't appear to be any water leaking out. No error message displayed.

Hi just read your posting.Does your machine trip the power as soon as it is turned on or after it has been on for a time?Usually on the front loaders it is the heating element that trips the safety switch.Have you tried setting the wash temp to a cold wash? Please reply with additional information and I will help you as much as I can.Looking forward to your reply.

Please DO NOT touch this machine IF the power is ON. There is a possibility of shock. The reason, the ONLY reason, that the Breaker "Trips" is, if there is a, Phase fault to Earth/Neutral, in other words the CASE of the machine. Please get a serviceman or electrician.

Moved Kenmore dishwasher to new house. Installed it. It will not start. Is there a reset switch? Model 587-1541590. Electrical installation checked OK. Water connection checked OK. Is there something I...

You say "electrical installation checked OK"...is the machine hard wired into a junction box or does it plug into an outlet?

If in a wall socket the new house circut may be on a wall switch which is currently off. If it is plugged into a GFI outlet it may have tripped, Find another power source to wire to, GFI plugs and dishmachines just don't get along, Learned that some time ago!

There may be an issue with your door safety switch on the unit.

Check for voltage where the house wires are wire capped in the machine if hard wired, sometimes twisting those can cause issues.

I doubt your machine has a reset switch but many hobart units have on on the motors.

It really sounds like you have a voltage issue.
