Do you have this problems with all dvds? If so, it could be the cable.

Can't play USA DVDs on a UK purchased product

Go on e-bay and purchase a region free DVD player for cheap. Wait for Christmas and re-gift your UK player to some other poor bastard.

When I put a DVD in it says ''loading,' but never plays It continues to display, ''loading''

See if you can use other DVDs and see if the problem still exists. If it does, use a lens cleaner and have the lens cleaned. See if it helps.

Dvd play back blue screen

I recently got the same problem on this model. The component outputs still work but I don't get video or audio on the baseband outputs. I emailed Sony support and they said take it to a repair center. Am still looking for a solution.
