32" niko lcd-green pixelation

The tv main Tuner signal board it is the causes and the problems.The board it is dying and shorting out.U have some mechanicals skills,like take things aparts and putting it back togetther again?Yes.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv main Tuner signal board for the replacement.

Mine is kinda tempermental also. When it won't come on or turn off with the remote ,or gets a double image on the screen,I have to unplug for a couple of minutes and then it starts to work. Don't know why.?

I have fixed a lot of Vizio TVs. You are getting red pixelation. Some people have green pixelation, too. Usually change main board and main connector cord for fix. Check with vizio and see if it is still under warranty. Some parts have a lifetime warranty. If you call support and give them your model number they may be aware of the problem. It is not your inputs or wiring. It is the boards inside the TV. Let me know how it turns out. Good luck, John.

The inverter card drives your cold cathode lighting.
If you pull the covers you will find all the lights out, if any of the eight legs of the inverter go out (driver transistor) the card will not work.

Same problem here too. Happens everyday now until power is off for a while then picture is stable. Thought it was interference, but I'll look into the overheating issue a bit more closely.

This seems to be associated with the overheating of some component. On my set I need to check that the backlight is set to a low level. On reset it automatically adjusts to a level above maximum and the green screen will appear in a few minutes. I took the back off and that helped some.

Fortunately, I have not had the fuzzy green screen problem in quite awile, and since getting the Dish, I have not had to worry about channel memory loss. I am thinking about turning this one into a computer monitor...is this even possible... and getting a bigger tv for the front room, HD of course.
