Question about Canon PIXMA MX300 All-in-One Printer
I have exactly the same issue. Once I had installed the software for the printer then one day, out of the blue the PC stopped recognizing the printer (Canon Pixma MX300)I have changed ports, reinstalled the drivers, changed the cable... many stuff and still no luck.
One friend told me that the Windows Vista tends to have that (out the many) bugs... Any ideas? It´s really frustrating having all things in order and just not been able to solve the issue..
Vista not good at all it is really heavy in order to install canonmx300 to must download software for vist afor it to work everything must be vista once os is vista cannot install xp on it advice to revert back to win xp better lots of bug inside the vista not really helpful vista

1. keep connect your printer and switch on,
2. re-install vista
3. it will detect all ports automatically and fix it
4. thru this u can find solution for your problem..
5. if vista ask for the driver, then install your printer driver from cd
all the best... try it
