Question about Pioneer DEH-P8600MP CD Player
I have a similar problem to yours. I went to remove the face off my unit yesterday and it ejected the CD which I poked back in. The cd loaded correctly but the motorized face didnt slide back up into place and now the unit wont power up. I have tried unplugging it and leaving it and also checked power and earth to the connecting plug.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

You can assist the face in going all the way down, once it is in this position it will automatically eject the cd. When the face starts to come down simply help it/gently force it to go the entire way with your hand, mine has the same issue and this is what I do everytime and it seems to work fine.
