If you try connecting it to itunes and then go to the ipod category, you should see a button down the bottom of the page saying "factory reset" or something of that equivelant. This will wipe your ipod and then you can just sinc. the songs from your library. If this doesn't work it could be something wrong with your hardware and contact apple to see if u can get a refund/replacement.

My ipods slide wont move to unlock

This happened to me with my old iPod. Your iPod might have fallen hard or hit into something. This most likely means the touch sensor on your iPod is damaged.
You have a few options:
  1. If your iPod is less than a year old, go to the Apple Store, and talk to them - they may give you a free replacement on the spot.
  2. Go to the Apple Store and pay them a fee to fix it - or look for other repair shops that might fix it for cheaper.
  3. Go to the Apple Store, buy a new iPod and give them your old one - you will get a 10% discount on the price.

The problem might be that the USB cable is interupten in the middle. You can buy a new one. The problem could be as simple as that.

My applications on my ipod touch won't open. How do I fix it?

if the apps were bought directly on the ipod thru wi-fi u need to transfer them over to the itunes library first. After they have been transferred over u have to authorize ur computer. Once that is done u have to delete the apps of the ipod and then re sync them again

New itouch 32 gig. All downloaded apps stop

Try turning off your ipod after installing a new app. Hold down the sleep/wake button on the top for 6 seconds, then slide accross to power off when prompted.

Otherwise, if that doesn't work, try restoring the update. Make sure you have the latest version of itunes, which you can get at www.apple.com/itunes.

Then make sure you have the latest firmware version for the ipod.

If all that doesn't fix your problem, try to restore your ipod via DFU mode. Here is a great step by step guide to do that. http://iphonefreakz.com/beginners-guide/howto-dfu-mode/

I hope this helps,

Nathan.

ps. keep in mind, that it could be bad programing if it is only happening on one application.
