Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Twisting of clothes

I have tried several different ways of washing the clothes, all with the same outcome: everything is all twisted together. Pant legs are the worst, you can't even iron the wrinkles out of the jeans. My scrubs, sheets, towels, you name it, it will twist up. Have tried washing big loads, small loads, medium loads, normal, delicate, gentle, heavy duty...nothing changes the outcome. Funny thing is that I don't remember it always being like this! PLease help.

Why does whirlpool washer wtw6200vwd twist pant leg and sleves!

It's an inherent problem with this washer due to the designed movement of the agitator. My wife had the same problem. We solved this and the multitude of other problems we had with this washer by going to home depot and buying the cheapest washer they had. Told the rep we wanted a washer with no computer, no special cleaning agitation designs, etc. He said "you want this one". we bought it, they delivered it and we now have cleaner clothes and no twisted sleeves, pant legs, error messages. When they were ready to leave they ask my wife if she wanted to keep the old washer or wanted them to haul it away. Her response was "I never want to see that thing again."

Clothes got twisted on front rubber piece put it back together and now the washer does not spin

Did the rubber tare when it got twisted? If not did you remove the rubber below and reinstall it. If not then it may of slipped and could be causing a bind in the drum.

My clothes never come out of this maytag neptune top loader machine clean. they are also sooooo wrinkled that everything needs ironing desperately, sometimes my towels are twisted into knots.it definitely...

My clothes also get all twisted. I found that if I wash smaller loads, it doesn't happen. Try smaller loads...if that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.

Clothes and sheets come out wrinkled and twisted

Try not to wash large items with small items the large items like sheet will twist around the small item. causeing twisting and wrinkling. Also If you are overloading the clothes or underloading the clothes they will come out wrinkled. I would try to do some testing wash a load of only towels then wash a load of only t-shirts and other light weight items that you may have. Then do just a load of your jeans. What happens? Please let me know

Laundry too wrinkled

grabbed this of an official whirlpool web site: Clothing in the washer can become tangled and twisted or balled up.
Under certain conditions, a combination of the wash load, the cycle selected and the subsequent load movement can cause
the load to become tangled or twisted.
The wash impeller has been redesigned to make the wash load less likely to tangle under the conditions mentioned above.
Replace the wash impeller with part #W10141017.
willing to bet your serial number is before this number here. easy enough part to switch if its no longer under warr
SERIAL CODE RANGE: Prior to CU39
