Question about Canon imagePROGRAF W6200 InkJet Printer
Check the wiring assemble connecting the printhead to the printer and where the wiring connects to the printer. Anything loose here would prevent the unit from correctly reading the sensors on the printhead. Just a thought.

Are there air bubbles in the ink tube lines?
is your printhead draining ink onto the paper?
Most likely you need new ink tubes.
