Re: samsung lnt4065 problem

It sounds like the TV was most likely dropped, and there is probably some breakage! I would call right away to have the set exchanged!

My Samsung TV model sp-r4232 shows good but when I plug up the cable wire it looks ugly what could be the problem

You plug the cable wire into the cable box and then hook up the cable box to your TV through HDMI or composite audio/video jacks on the cable box and on your TV.

Can Chromecast damage TV? I recently bought a Chromecast and it worked fine. Then the picture disappeared, but I still had sound. Today I reconnected it to test it, and one hour later I have no sound

It won't damage the TV. Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box at the display window, and press enter to get all related posts. It will make surf easy.

I have a samsung lnt4065 LCD TV. IT create a clicking sound and it wont turn on. I had this for 19 months and its out of warranty. They want to charge me $65 just to check the problem but not to solve it....

This type of failure might be due to defective capacitors in the power supply. Check this link for more info on power supply failures and DIY tips.
Let me know if you require further assitance.
Good Luck.

Red light blinking, tv doesn't start

Your TV is in Protection Mode right now. A part inside the TV has failed and the TV will not turn ON to prevent other parts from being damaged. The red light blinking is an error code for diagnosing the problem part on the one of the power supply boards. The problem boards that need to be looked at is the Backlight Inverter Board or the Main Power Supply Board.
There is a slim chance you can leave the TV unplugged for an hour so the TV can discharge and reset itself. But other than that, I would use the warranty if possible. The TV repair shop maybe expensive, so get some price quotes to see if it worth the trouble.

Samsung LN-T4042H 40" LCD

This may not really be a solution to your problem, but here it goes. If you are not sitting a particular distance from your tv you will experience slight pixelation. I have this tv myself and I think it looks great. Now when I am sitting up close on a station that is broadcasting in 720p(which is pretty much every HD station) It looks only pretty good...I sit back and it is fantastic. The good rule of thumb is take the number or inches your TV is in yours and my case 40, divide by 10 and then multiply by 2...and that is the number of feet you should be for optimal viewing distance. So 8 feet, you would be surprised to see how sitting this magic number away makes a difference.
