[1] make sure the switch for you wireless network is turned on, and I think it is either located between the screen joints and the keyboard, or right on the side of the computer [the side that always faces you when the computer is on the laps]. Next, check to see if it has detected any wireless Networks, you could do this by right clicking the icon for the wireless network, in your bottom right corner and clicking on 'view available wireless networks'. if they do not show, you will have to refresh. When the links are listed, select the one you wish yo connect to and click 'connect'. if it needs authentication, you'll have to provide a network key

There should be 'touch sensitive' keys near the right-hand speaker. these buttons look like lights at first. Try that...if your edition doesnt have them, then you would want to try the Fn key the function key that has the wireless icon on it:

Here is a link to a similar series, I hope it will be helpful:

I think youre in luck. The driver for your Broadcom wireless card is not contained in Windows 7. You can download the updated driver by going here.

You should be able to simply download the .zip, extract it to your desktop and let it install itself but if you need additional help installing the driver manually, please let me know.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: I cant connect to the internet, it says enable

You need to go to your control panel then your internet options. From there go to your internet connections and foolow the prompts for wireless connections. That will set up a wireless connection for you, you may have to redo this connection depending on your location when using your computer. Take note unless you know their passwords you can only get on non secure networks. That means be careful what you do for anyone can intercept the work.

How do i turn the wireless capabilty on? my internet was working fine i restarted my laptop and now can not pick up my wirless, its saying that my wireless capability had been turned off, how to i put it...

Look for a WiFi button to ensure it isn't off. If it isn't, then go to the Control Panel and go to Device Manager (Hardware Manager in Vista) and make sure the device disabled. Right click it and choose Enable. Should pick up your wireless.

Aspire 6930 wireless button not working

Without any wireless networks available, using your computer wirelessly is most pointless. If you want to set up a wireless access point in your home you need a wireless router, connected to Internet.
