Took bag completely off and now I can't put it back together

Put the outer bag back on the unit. Make sure that you have pushed the outer bag down past a black lip. The piece that holds the inner and outer bag on the vacuum needs to be put on next. The small horseshoe shaped plastic piece goes on with hte open part down. Make sure that the docking station goes behind the lip I told you about. Next put the piece that the inner bag slides into on. This should have the bag back on the vacuum and ensure that it is on properly. If not, then it will pull of pretty easy and blow dirt into the outer bag...not the one that is meant to catch the dirt....I am a manager of an Oreck store.

The starter on my 79 harley classic flx is making a loud grinding sounds...whats the problem and the fix??

This could be cause by a number of things. You could have bad bearings in the starter motor, a bad bearing in the reduction gear housing, a bad Bendix or overrunning clutch, or a bad bearing in the outer primary. Or, you could have a bad starer drive gear or ring gear. There's just no way of knowing for certain until you go into the primary and starter to check it all out.

Disconnect the battery cable and take the outer primary cover off. Inspect the ring gear on the outer clutch drum and the bearing in the outer primary cover. Inspect the teeth on the starter gear to see if they look chewed up. Take the starter shaft out and look at the back end of the shaft to see if the bearing that supports that end of the shaft has went bad. Finally take the starter off and check the bearings in the starter motor. If you disassemble the starter motor, sometimes the brushes can be difficult to get back together. I usually use small 3" or 4" plastic wire ties to hold the brushes back while I reassemble the starter.

Good Luck
Steve

Clutch locked up on my 82 Suzuki dr250 I am at a loss what should I do.

your clutch is simply a stack of friction disks and metal plates. The friction disks are splined into the outer hub ring and alternate, one friction disk / one plate / one friction disk / one plate etc. It's very simple to free this up if it's locked up. remove clutch cover. If you are unsure which is your clutch cover, follow the clutch lever cable to the actuator arm. remove the cable from arm and all bolts holding the cover. as you pull out the cover, you will see the arm rotate that's because it's geared into an arm that is connected to the front plate of the clutch basket assembly. You'll see it as soon as you pull it off. now you'll be looking at a round plate with 6 bolts with springs underneath. when you arent pulling the lever, these springs are extended and push the friction disks and metal plates together, thereby locking the inner hub to the outer hub. The inner hub is connected to the crank, and the outer hub is connected to the transmission input gear. So, if pressed together by the springs, your engine running causes your bike to move. Pulling the clutch lever in pulls the spring tension off the plates and allows them to separate. This allows your engine to be disconnected from the transmission. If your plates are locked together you will remove them one by one if you can and lubricate between each plate and disk and reinstalling. Pay close attention to how it came apart. Reinstall bolts and springs reinstall cover, aligning the lever gear teeth with the front of the clutches teeth correctly. put it all together and see if you are okay now.

I want to replace the cord/plug is it easy?

Malibu power packs are 1-piece units that can't be taken apart.
However you can cut off the cord and leave about 4-6" of cord sticking out, and then splice into the cord that's sticking out.

Usually I buy heavy orange or black extension cord with male-female plugs on each end.
I cut off female end and use that end to splice into the cord that's sticking out.

How to splice wire.
Use knife and slice down the cord lengthwise... just cut through the outer plastic covering.
Pull the outer cover cover back to reveal black and white wires.
Cut off extra cover.
Cut back insulation on each black and white wire.
Now you have 2 black wires and 2 white wires/
Twist together the copper wire on whites and cover with plastic electrician tape.
Do the same with copper wires on blacks.
Now the blacks are joined/ and whites are joined, and each has tape over copper wire.
Wrap black tape around both sets of wires until all the black and white is covered with several wraps of tape.
That's it. Plug it in.

Any wrenching tips for replacing solenoid starter for 2001 FXDL?

Disconnect the battery first thing, negative wire first. The starter on your bike is a Nippondenso type starter. The solenoid and starter motor are built together as a single unit. The solenoid part of the starter is the top part that is shaped like a pentagon. The motor itself is below that part and is round.

You will have to remove the outer primary cover to remove the jack shaft, the little gear that turns the outer clutch drum. When you remove the starter, there is a splined coupling inside that goes in the starter in a particular direction. The end with the bevel goes towards the starter. Make sure you take notice of this and mark it if you can't remember which way it goes in.

Other than this, changing the starter is pretty straight forward.

White screen or some times white vertical lines at start up

I had similar problem. Sometimes the screen goes white while working under windows and repositioning the display, but most of the time it goes white during power up. I decided to check the display cabling by removing the speaker/power-button panel and display coverings. Although I couldn't find a loose cable, the display was consistently working properly. I put it back together and so far so good.
To expose the wiring:
1. Power off, unplug power cord, and remove battery.
2. Open display all the way flat with the keyboard.
3. The speaker/power-button panel is also the cover for the display hinges. You can pry the panel off by prying up the hinge covers from the sides facing center.
4. The inside display covering is fasten with four screws in the corners covered by the rubber bumpers.
5. The outer display shell is attached by 6 screws. 2 on each hinge and 1 on either side of the LCD unit.
6. The mic and camera cables can be unpluged by gentle prying the plugs out.

Replace air filter on Craftsman 3000 garden tractor

the "baffle" that looks like half of a funnel goes on the stud with the open end up, the orange rubber hose goes on the stud to hold the baffle in place, the air filter then goes on and is supposed to be held on with a wing nut, then the outer air filter cover goes on

Outer screen replacement

Lift off the speaker covers and you will see 4 screws around each speaker. remove those. Remove the plastic strip that goes across the bottom.

Also will see screws that hold the front bezel on the the Case, I believe there is 3, remove all those screws and lift lightly so you dont break the bezel clips.

Then put back together in the same way.
