I don't see the make and model number of your unit. I only see part of your post. Please post the make and model number. It should be a simple fix. From what I do see in your post, it sounds like the control board will need to be replaced.

Dacor RSD30 beeps and displays F1 warning... do I need a replacement panel?

You need a control board replacement. This will require taking the panel off, just be sure to kill the power and replace wire for wire. Its fairly easy once you have the panel off. Just reassemble in reverse order.

Dacor oven code FO means keypad is in depressed mode.....and then what?

Hi john56584,

The "F0" error code description is a stock function key. Here are basic test that will help you to determine if the ERC or touchpad is defective.

1. Unplug the range power cord or turn the power off to the range at the circuit breaker.

2. Gain access inside the control panel.

3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from the ERC.

4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was.

5. Turn the power back on.

6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the code comes back.

7. If F0 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Dacor RSD30 range has F1 failure can this be fixed? I had the same range before this one and had nothing but problems with F1

Hello Guest,
This is a typical symptom of a failure in the control board. We rebuild these controllers which makes for a much more cost effective repair than replacing the unit.

Control Panel Problem

Sounds like a membrane issue and I would certainly call dacor corp and maybe they will assist in the costs. That is if you provide repeated service part replacements.

Replace RSD30 oven control

This is one of the hardest stoves to get into. Turn off the breaker.
Pull off the burner knobs. This should reveal four large plastic nuts holding the console in place. You can turn them gently with channel locks straight on - not from the side. After you've got the console loose, everything else is downhill. There's lots of screws behind console, and across the bottom of the console (just above the door.) Remove just the ones you need, or face the wrath of Dacor!
Be careful about the rubber strip across the top of the console. It often stretches during a repair. You might have to cut off 1/4 to 1/2 in to get it to fit again.
The large plastic nuts are very east to get cross threaded when replacing them. I recommend turning them counterclockwise until you can feel the threads line up.
Good luck!

Choose the Convection Bake Mode on your controller and select a temperature of 500 degrees or higher. Press and hold Convection Bake for 3-4 seconds and "F" or "C" will appear in red in the display. Using your up/down keys, toggle from "F" to "C", or "C" to "F" depending on your choice. If you hare not using your product, turn it off by pressing Cancel/Secure
