Mousepad Frozen I just got an Eee PC 900 series for my birthday. I actually just got this yesterday. I was excited; it's so compact and cute. Then I setup everything. I was writing in Microsoft Word and everything froze. Since then, 24 hours or more later, the cursor is still frozen on the middle of the screen. I've powered it down a million times. I've taken out the battery. Nothing is working. The keyboard froze, but worked again once I rebooted. The mousepad was working, but now the cursor is just froze. What is wrong??!!!

The acer has a driver and software restore program on your desktop, I suggest you re install the driver for the mouse pad, you may have to use an external usb mouse to do it. try that

I have an asus Eee series PC 900 and i just want to restore it to its factory settings.

If the recovery partition is intact, press F9 during boot up and that will boot into the recovery partition where you can format and restore your computer back to factory default.

I have an eee pc 900 series, and the camera is not being detected

To turn the camera on IS in the BIOS. It's not in a logical "camera" spot but it's in there. My camera on my Eee PC 1000H got turned off somehow (not by me or by a BIO upgrade) so I found it and fixed it. Look for it in the BIOS menu's. It's there.

I put 2gb of DD2 ram in 800 mhz it wont show a screen? To fast of

Eee PC models use 533/667 MHz DDR2 RAM via a standard SO-DIMM module.

The hardware supports up to 4GB (2GB for the 1000 series, and some of the 900 series).

Frozen Laptop

Can you use the keyboard? If you can then the mouse software is damaged. If you cannot use the keyboard then boot to safe mode. If safe mode is frozen then the problem is hardware.
