I wouldn't recommend washing a king size comforter in your machine. That would be ******* it. I take mine to a laundry mat where they have bigger machines.

too much bleach used on previous load when you used bleach also lint on clothes is caused by washing cross fabrics, ie, washing cottons with polyester

hi i had the same problem clean the door seal then use some disilled malt vinegar on a 90 wash then clean your filter out then use some bleach with your washing powder on 90 wash clean your filter then you should be all good then as that worked for me

you dont have to worrry about it being absolutly level, just level the fron feet so they are touching the ground. use all of your body weight to shake the machine if yout feels hard as a rock then its fine. if your load is becoming unbalanced, then RTFM, this machine is a suspension basket, you cannot wash a load of shirts and throw in 1 towel, or 1 pair of jeans, towels only by themselves and jeans only by them selves.

I took mine to the laundromat and used their largest machine. It came out great. I dried it for an hour in their supersized dryer and then finished the job at home. It cost $7 (lots of quarters) vs. $30 for dry cleaning, which is not recommended for down because it strips the down of natural oils, I think. The label says do not dry clean on mine.

Starting in early 2002, the capacity sizes were changed around a little bit. A normal sized washer now all have the same sized tubs (pretty much) in the 110 series (Whirlpool Manufactured) washers. The capacity is now rated somewhat by the agitator action the washer comes with. Depending on the type of agitator you have, will determine the capacity. King size capacity means you have a pretty good capacity (size wise) than others. You have normal capacity, large capacity, super capacity, king capacity, and I even think they have canyon (yes canyon) capacity. Capacity sizes dont really mean to much though. In order for you clothes to get clean, the must have room in the tub to move. The must be able to float up, then get pulled down by agitator action. That should determine the size of what goes in the washer. Always use same type clothing when doing laundry (i.e. towels with towels, sheets with sheets, etc, this will keep the load balanced better). Watch what you load, comforters are ok (per manufactures ok) but I do not tlike the idea unless its a front loader, and only by itself. Let me know if this helps you out any.

Your load is unbalanced, at least that is what is sounds like. Have you taken out all the shipping bolts?

These washers and dryers hold very little clothing, 3-4 pair of jeans or less if the person is really large and maybe three regular sized thick bath towels since they weight so much when wet. You must make sure you are not overloading your machines when in use.
