Want to remove front of Asko dishwasher to paint it

We have an Asko Premiere 1303 dishwasher....stainless steel interior...in a home we just bought. We are trying to figure out how old it is.....and also trying to figure out if it's possible to remove the white metal front so we can paint it.....and then re-attach it to the machine. Does anyone have any familiarity with this model dishwasher?

Usually you can remove the panel with a series of screws. you can tell how old it is by the serial #. depending on the brand the third to fouth #'s should tell you when the unit was made

Asko D1996. 2 wet spots on floor in front of unit, (~1/2 cup). It continued to run, but the inside bottom of the machine was dirty, as though it slowly drained its wash water. Dishes mostly clean..

If you can open the panel and allow the panel to dried then tested to confirm before the panel is removed.
Use a hair dryer or a good air jet to remove all moisture from the panel and see if this works.

Replace the front panel

check out www.applianceart.com, they have many different colors and designs that go over your current panel. if it is wood like the one pictured, you may need to remove the wood and replace it with an actual stainless steel panel. They have those too.

Hello. Not all dishwashers have multiple panels which you can interchange. However, you always have two other options. One is to paint the white cover with stainless steel spray paint.
You can do this yourself with spray cans available from home depot, or you can remove the door and take it to an autobody shop to have it professionally done.

you can also have a piece of stainless sheet metal cut to size at a metal fabricating shop and use a construction adhesive to attach it to the front of your dishwasher, using stainless outside corner trim to finish the job.

Stainless panel for Kenmore 3631532 dishwasher?

I have two options for you to consider. One is to take your panel to any sheet metal fabricating shop and have them make a stainless steel version for you. The other is to get a spray can of stainless steel appliance paint and apply it. i have used the stainless steel paint on entire appliances with excellent results.

Want to replace painted front panel with stainless steel

The installation instructions and the Owner's Manual do not say how to replace the panel.  It may not be possible to change without replacing the entire door.
Look for trim near the top of the door that is attached by screws.  If the trim can be removed the old panel can be slid up and out and the new panel can be slid in.  Alternatively look for side trim piece(s) that might be removable allowing the panel to be slid in.
