How do I get the control panel to respond

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the buttons don't work on the control panel the entire touchpad and control panel assembly may need to be replaced. If the display works but the dishwasher functions are all out of synch, or some of the buttons don't respond properly the entire touchpad and control panel might need to be replaced.

Touchpad

If the buttons don't work on the control panel, the dishwasher touchpad might be at fault. Generally speaking, if the dishwasher display is working and some of the buttons respond correctly but some don't, the problem is with the touchpad.

Main Control Board

The dishwasher has a main control board which regulates nearly every function in the dishwasher. If the control panel buttons don't work, and other causes have been ruled out, the main control board might need to be replaced.

I think you still have warranty, it sounds you have faulty control panel, even if it's new does not mean it is good.

Remove power for a few minutes...plug back in to see if it responds.
If control panel still doesn't respond...it may be time for home visit by repair guy.

That control panel is the "brains" of the unit...power surge may have fried it.

Time for a repairman to check your system. The storm may have burnt out your main boarde if you don't have a surge supressor onn the system.

change spa side switch

try to unplug unit for 30 min if this doesnt reser then change the module/control board.let me know what you think

do the batteries need changed
if so make sure you shutdown first
or check settings for keyboard in control panel

locate button with lock emblem beside it hold button down 3-5 secs ..still not going off suspect front control panel

check the touch pad , and check the control panel...
