Question about Averatec 3200 Notebook
My wi-fi access shows connected with excellent reception. I cannot log into any search engine, no matter what I do. I have turned off the firewall and cleared all history. Still nothing.
If you have a manually configured IP address trying to access a Network where IP addresses are automatically configured, that could be a problem. secondly, if you're running Windows XP, there was once a network connection issue that the OS used to have where it would show a normal connection yet it was unable to communicate or would show a 'limited or no connectivity' sign even when the link was alright. I have used the application provided on the following link, I hope you'll have just as much luck http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
