Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Thank you for your question.
To allow Vista to work with the Zen Touch, you will first need to download and install this specific version of MediaSource. Click here to download it.
After installing the above, connect your Zen Touch to the computer. After connecting the device, you will now need to download and install this specific version of the PlaysForSure software. Download it here and install it.
The software above will change the firmware on your device again, and will erase all songs! Even if it asks for a backup, the backup will fail on Vista, and if you want to keep all the songs, make the backup on XP first!
The Zen should work in Vista now. If you made the backup of songs on XP, you'll have to put them on the player one-by-one. In most cases, they will not be importable all in one go.
