SEA2300 +ESP - cd disc stuck in player

I have a SEA 2300 +ESP AM/FM/CD player installed in my pontoon boat and I have a CD stuck in the player. I have tried using the eject button to no avail, have reset the machine also to no avail. Is there any way to get the stuck CD out without dismantling the whole machine??
Any constructive help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Bill

How to get the laser unit repaired/ replaced on my portable CD player?

Most likely cheaper to replace than repair. The labor cost for such a fiddly repair would be more than a new unit.

I just bought a used pontoon boat with a Clarion Marine M235 radio/cd player. The previous owner said there is a cd stuck in the player and won't eject or play. The display says "no cd" but I...

you have to open the unit cover to remove the CD, its probably tried to eject it and its past the point that shows one in the slot which is causing the player to say NO CD , once opened, use great care in moving anything, and keep track of where everything goes,

Disconnect all the speaker leads and then hook one speaker (a new, known to work speaker) up directly to the radio using a short (6"-12") piece of speaker wire. Does that speaker work then?

Sony CDX-CA400 FM/AM Compact Disc Player

The optic inside the CD player may be dirty or damp, this is the part that reads the data from the cd, you can try cd cleaning discs or you may have get an engineer to open it and clean it with an alcohol swab. The optic could also be faulty which will be cheaper to buy a new cd player.

Cd player gives me a error code 4

The player doesn't like the brand of CDR your playing. Try using just a CD burner instead of a combo CD/DVD burner2_bing.gif. Also use Verbatim Pastel brand, because the player recognizes these discs easier. Also, it wouldn't hurt for you to run a commercial disc laser cleaner through this thing to clean the optical lens. Burn music using Nero software because its easy and the best.

Sony CDX CA720X in my boat

Mac, I had the same problem, it was the hard wired remote at the Stern. When I unplugged it from the radio, everything came back to life and the radio and CD player are working fine. I'll have to replace the other remote at some point.

Hope this works for you...
